Description

Project description:

Through the delivery of the REPTAR planning module, a reorder point will be utilized to confirm that a supply action is not recommended until a point in time when the project stock is less than the reorder point.  This results in approximately 30% of superfluous buy/repair recommendations to be removed from the supply planner’s monthly workload of review until a requirement is truly determined. Additionally, IBM will address the IT requirements to enable outbound feeds from Wholesale Inventory Optimization Model for Enterprise Resource Planning (WIOM-ERP) to Navy ERP, representing wholesale inventory level updates on a quarterly basis.
