Providing strategy and policy analysis to support the Army Futures Command (AFC) Headquarters Office. AFC leads the Army’s future force modernization enterprise. AFC assesses and integrates the future operational environment, emerging threats and technologies to develop and deliver concepts, requirements and future force designs, and supports the delivery of modernization solutions. AFC postures the Army for the future by setting strategic direction, integrating the Army’s future force modernization enterprise, aligning resources to priorities and maintaining accountability for modernization solutions.

Task Description:

 The contractor shall provide assistance in Defense Travel System (DTS) in the preparation of travel requests and vouchers. The contractor shall provide Tier 1 support in a service desk environment with the goal of first contact resolution. The contractor shall provide technical support for issues travelers are experiencing within the DTS program, respond to and resolve application and functional user issues on DTS, and monitor and continue to work on the customer’s service request or incident and follow up with the customer until resolution. The contractor shall provide travel related support services for AFC military personnel and civilians. Support services may require travel for staff assisted visits to down trace organizations and will include performance of clerical and administrative

Required skills/Level of Experience:

  • Experience working with Defense Travel System (DTS)
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance
  • 5+ Years working for a DoD Client
  • Familiarity with DoD travel regulations and policies including Joint Travel Regulations (JTR)

Nice to have skills:

  • Experience working for a SES and/or in a DoD Headquarters office
